Fees
Published, because it should be.
Most firms will not put a number on a page. We would rather you knew before you walked in, and it saves us both a conversation that neither of us enjoys.

How we bill
You get a costs agreement before any work starts, setting out the fee or the estimate and what is included. If an hourly matter is heading past the estimate, we tell you before it does, not after.
We bill monthly on longer matters so nothing arrives as a shock at the end.
If you cannot afford us, say so at the first call. Sometimes there is a fixed-fee way to do the same thing, and sometimes the honest answer is that you should not be spending money on it at all.
